The foundational step into Edge AI. Students are introduced to NVIDIA Jetson hardware, embedded AI system architecture, Linux operating system basics, and terminal-first workflows used to build and manage intelligent devices at the edge.
Core curriculum

Jetson Hardware
Understand Jetson product families, embedded GPU computing, storage, power, peripherals, and the role of Linux in Edge AI systems.
Linux Basics
Learn Linux file systems, shell commands, package installation, users, permissions, processes, editors, and terminal productivity.
Terminal Skills
Use command-line tools for system inspection, software setup, environment management, and repeatable development workflows on embedded devices.
Embedded Workflows
Connect hardware concepts to Edge AI applications in robotics, vision, sensing, and autonomous systems while emphasizing safe development practices.
