Indoor autonomous drone mission course. Teams fly through a structured relay using a wheelbase-limited drone with propeller protection.

Event overview

Teams design and program a drone that flies a structured indoor mission relay. The drone must operate safely within a defined arena, complete the mission tasks, and pass hardware inspection before the run.

Rules & format

Each section defines a part of how the event is run. Hardware limits, scoring, and safety are inspected on-site.

1Section 1

Flight Area

Indoor flight area approximately 20m × 10m × 10m, max height 10m. Operations stay within the defined arena boundary.

2Section 2

Hardware Limits

Drone wheelbase ≤ 250mm. Total payload ≤ 250g. Propeller protection is required. Must pass inspection before each run.

3Section 3

Mission

Complete the relay mission tasks within the time limit. Best run among allowed attempts counts toward the score.

4Section 4

Scoring

Objective scoring by task points. Time is used as the tie-breaker. Disputes must be raised to the referee immediately.
